When you’ve decked your deck with autumn hues
of scarlet, gold and light chartreuse
you don’t expect what can appear
when summer leaves a souvenir.
Nobody planted it but itself
no phantom gnome or garden elf
it had to see, after hearing the tout,
what Thanksgiving and Christmas were all about.
Thanks again to the S.W. Berg Photo Archives

Now, that is funny. Reminded me of out by the chicken coop there was a tomato plant growing on the ground and tomatoes laying there as well. Where there is a will there is a way. đŸ™‚

So if the chickens could do it, the tomato plant could too, eh? What a great image! We ought never underestimate plants!
