Wow – so early in the day for such a long trip back to my youth. A new pair of saddle shoes was a dream come true. Keeping them clean was another matter. Thanks for the smile. 🙂

And back atcha! I did chuckle to read that it was early for so long a trip. When my daughter-in-law showed up in those shoes, I couldn’t believe it. What a hoot. I guess she couldn’t find any crinolines to go with them, though. Do you remember pairing those shoes with the crinolines under big full skirts that whirled out when we jitterbugged? Were we cool or what?

Oh my, yes, I remember. The more you owned the better it was. I also remember how scratchy they were on the back of your legs when you sat down. LOL

Mine were scratchy ALL the time! They chewed up my nylons across the backs of my legs (when I wasn’t wearing bobby sox), and so it was all the harder to keep those seams straight. I’ve got a nerve laughing at today’s fashions, don’t I? Thanks for remembering with me!
