  1. We have had a lot of rain, but they still say we are in drought conditions, can’t quite catch up I guess. No rain today, so I’m off to plant at the nursing home. Hope you have a good day in store for yourself.

    • Still in drought? That is not good. Right now I’d like to share some of our rain with you and with California. I think we have more than our share. I hope you have a good day planting; my plan for today has to do with catch-up from my painting days. SOMEONE allowed a mess to accumulate while I was painting! But I’m going to try to find time to celebrate National Dance Like A Chicken Day, and I hope you will too!

  2. It rained almost all week here but, like Judy, we’re still catching up. I love seeing the drops, and your poem is lovely.

  3. Thanks, Dan! I too love seeing the drops — there is something hypnotic about watching them. And if the sun is shining through them — well, that’s the best.

  4. I was just listening to rain drops on the roof, so your poem chimed with them. We had an unusually dry April but our bluebell woods are sodden.

    • I’d like to say I planned it that way but you might be skeptical. A lovely sound, though. I bet those bluebells are gorgeous wearing drips.

      • I don’t think you would subject the whole of Darwen to a torrent, unless that Muse put you up to it, which would be pushing it, even for a muse.
