  1. Beautiful! Applause to your special photographer and to you for the special words. Happy Monday, my friend.

    • Believe it or not, I was the photographer for this! I don’t know if computers show what a deep orange this was, but it’s worth a try. It was SO beautiful! A happy Monday to you, too, Judy!

  2. When the Moon is in the second house, and Jupiter aligns with Mars. Fantastic picture. For some reason I can’t capture a really great moon picture.

  3. I beg to differ. You’ve nabbed a deliberately smoggy photo of the moon with clouds, a wonderful moony fog with lamp posts — OK so not the moon exactly, the moon over the bay between the houses….but I am proud of this shot. Nothing can capture the real thing, though. As to the Moon in the second house and Jupiter lining up with Mars, I can only say that I’ll be having “The Age of Aquarius” going through my head for the next hour or two.

  4. Wonderful capture of the moon, that indeed is as beautiful as Venus. (Picturing Venus on the half shell!)

    • Thanks for the laugh AND for the compliment. That is exactly the Venus I was picturing, and I have to admit I was pretty proud of me for this shot.

  5. Lovely picture. I’d be happy for us to have an extra moon in the sky that looked like this – or perhaps it could be a sister planet for Jupiter.
