It’s a cold grey sky,
wintry overhead,
a rowdy autumn wind
has left me just a shred,
so what do I do
without my coat of red?
I hold out all my arms
and wear some birds instead.

Perfect! Funny too because I opened my window today to take a photo of a tree, and some small finches flew pretty darn close to me. They were busy picking berries off a tree, and I guess they wanted to make sure I didn’t get any. 🙂

Well, how rude! I think finches know how cute they are and take advantage. But all of them sure seem to be hustling these days. It’s slim pickin’s out there, and I bet those berries sure tasted good!
