  1. Nice way to start my Saturday. 🙂 Hope you have a good weekend, Maureen.

  2. It looks like a mountain- or pyramid-side — is it all clouds?

  3. The dark background are trees/landscape. Above are all clouds. I have this from Emily. I’m biased, but think it an incredible picture. I’m her mother. You’ve captured another thought with such perfect wording my dear friend.

    • Thanks for the word from the artist/photographer herself! And you SHOULD be biased! It is indeed an incredible picture, not just because of the beauty in it but because of the sense of living that’s in it. At least that’s the way I see it. There’s a blinding newness in this dawn.

  4. The gold is very beautiful. Between the words and picture, you’ve reminded me of ‘Tithonus’.

    • Indeed it is a gorgeous image! Thank you so much for the reference to “Tithonus”! It didn’t sound familiar at all, and it wasn’t. It was a whole new poem to me, and what words there! It always seems such a miracle when words are crafted like that.
