Thank you! As to my having been an English teacher, that’s a tough one to answer. I can only say that I TRIED to teach English! A great Tuesday to you, too, Judy!
Well, here you are out in the blogging community, and I for one can say that I reach for the dictionary/thesaurus on my phone at least a couple of times a week. So, I’d say you’re still teaching English. 🙂
I hate to break it to you, but I think 59 years is a little on the low side. Not that you’ve been learning English from me! But it seems to me that we were 15 when our paths crossed in the Speech Arts office at HHS. An English major’s math is a fragile thing, but I’m pretty sure that’s more than 59 years. Yikes indeed!
As for typos, they are required. Otherwise we’d just be robots.
I think sometimes the brain of one who is both gardener and writer becomes entangled in rare and impossible conundrums. Mind vs senses: the eternal battle. I’d vote YES, but mostly because my mind is mush so I’d go with my senses.

Lovely. I’ve always meant to ask – were you an English teacher? Have a great Tuesday, Maureen.

Thank you for the laugh! I’ve learned a whole bunch from you too, so you also qualify as teacher!

Of course you an English teacher! I have been learning English from you for 59 (yikes) years, my dear.

You’ve started me wondering if there is such a thing as pale bright. My mind would say no, my senses are less sure.
