Gray, foggy, damp, and pouring down rain. Not a good start. 🙂 I have some Dandelion blossoms right now, and I left them for the pollinators since there’s definitely not much else to choose from out there. Happy Friday, 1st of May, but we may have to make our own sunshine. 🙂
Not a good start at all! You may be right about having to make our own sunshine, but we’ve been working at that for a long while now. Mother Nature needs to kick in a little. This bright morning here is such a contrast to our usual that it’s hard to believe it’s real. I sure hope you get a break soon. A happy Friday to you, too, Judy — such as it is!
Thanks for your good wishes, and the same to you! I hope you are OK. Dandelion seed heads are the best light catchers. Our dandelion are superb as ever this year. They always kick-start me thinking of weeds, because for me they are the archetypal ones – yet they look great, they love growing, and they set seed with such aplomb.
Thank you! I like that: setting seeds with aplomb! Indeed they do that! I don’t understand why rabbits don’t go for them; it would seem such a good arrangement, especially for gardeners. I congratulate you on your superb specimens!

Luckily for me they are neighbourhood ones, not my own!
