  1. Ah, to visit a beach would be a real treat wouldn’t it. Although I’d settle for that blue sky today. 🙂 Happy Saturday, Maureen.

  2. A treat indeed! Just a minute or two staring into this photo is good therapy. So beautiful, isn’t it? I’m sorry to hear you lack a blue sky; ours comes and goes. A little grey, a little blue. Kind of an undecided day. But a happy Saturday to you, too, Judy!

  3. I have spent some time recently wondering whether a succession of the brightest blue skies I can ever remember is designed to cheer us or torment us and whether they are uplifting or not even if you can’t go out and enjoy them. I have concluded they are uplifting and need to remind myself the sky’s design bears no relation to us, though we half-imagine it might.

    • I suppose I must admit it’s all random, but I can’t help seeing it more subjectively. It’s a logical question these days as to whether a gorgeous blue sky is just there to taunt us, but I also lean toward the possibility that it inspires. Any day that brings a blue sky is one I take as another personal behoof!
