Sunless spring,
summer clogged with mud,
daily outlook darkened
with endless storm and flood,
so rare the light of sunset,
the pond cannot believe its eye,
and stops in breathless wonder
to return it to the sky.

It even rained here last night while the sun was shining. Now, it’s snowing in Colorado. Wow – we’re sure ticked off Mother Nature. 🙂

You remember that old commercial about how it isn’t nice to fool Mother Nature? I think we’ve gone one worse and ticked her off, as you say. You’d think she’d show gardeners just a little mercy! Happy Sunday anyway, Judy!

We’ve been having bursts of rain too, although our days are long enough at the moment to give time for the day to make amends.

We have had so much rain in the last couple months that we can speak only of bursts of sun. Just enough to tease. Right now, however, the sun is blazing away and it is WONDERFUL!!
