  1. I love daffodils, and I can actually grow them because the rodents don’t eat the bulbs. But, I haven’t seen a sprout yet, but I’m waiting. 🙂 Love your header shot.

  2. Daffodils are definitely my preferred flower of spring. I bought some last year as my very first investment in this garden, and I just yesterday potted them — I had to wait until after California to do that — so I’m figuring they might bloom by the 4th of July. Some had already sprouted, and today they are out in a gentle April shower. I’ve been keeping a close eye out for chipmunks and squirrels, who will be made into Davy Crocket hats if they go digging in my daffodil pots.

  3. Too mellow to bellow, this yellow fellow. 😉

  4. I suppose cello would have been a stretch?

    • Hilarious! I am going to have to re-think my attitude towards all things yellow. I don’t know why a yellow fellow, too mellow to ever bellow, couldn’t be playing a cello. Its way of saying hello? You know, of course, the daffodils are covering their ears.
