In feeble imitation
we aspire
in manmade constellation
of bulb and wire
to capture stars
of eons sired.
From night’s black depth
atop vast spire
two hoary lights,
amused, admire.
Thanks yet again to photographer S. W. Berg for this beauty.
And happy birthday to Emily Dickinson!

Yes, the stars must look down at our meager attempts and suppress a chuckle. 🙂 I do love all the lights but some not so much during daylight. 🙂

I love those lights too. Turning them on in the daytime seems kind of a waste, but, boy, do they inspire at night!

Nature’s lights do make a wonderful contrast. I’ll like to think of them amused, admiring.

There is indeed a wonderful contrast here; I think the photo is inspired.
