Disconnections: November 16.18

Even a little plastic tree

deserves a kinder place to be

away from marbled symmetry

squared into sterility.

Stark it stands dejectedly

illustrating pointedly

how we are compelled to see

the world anthropomorphically.

More thanks to the observant eye of photographer S.W. Berg.

  1. Okay – should I be truthful? First glance at the photo, I thought you were washing off a plastic tree in a shower. I think the half a foot of snow I’ve got to go shovel got to my brain. 🙂

    • It would get to my brain too! You sure got winter fast and furious yesterday! As to washing off a plastic tree in my shower, I’m sure I’d try it if it were the lazy way (always my preference), but in MY shower, that would be a crowd!
