  1. We don’t see Wisteria up here in New England, but I saw a lot of it in SC. Beautiful. Love your header shot too. 🙂

    • Thanks! I don’t see much wisteria around here, either, sad to say, but there is a gorgeous specimen where the Writers Center used to be. Somehow it seemed fitting: writers and wisteria seem to need the right environment to flourish.

  2. I sigh every time I drive past wisteria. It has always been a true sign of spring and brings back memories of my Mom. Thanks for all your words.

  3. Oh, mom memories — so often found in flowers! I can picture your mom even as I write this. I think she would love it that wisteria reminds you of her.

  4. Your point about the writer / wisteria connection reminded me of seeing wisteria over the gate of a garden dedicated to William Faulkner.
