The air was still
no finch’s trill
no breeze, no voice, no chirp
and so I know
as sun sank low
I heard a tiny burp.

I see a geranium there. 🙂 I started spring with 12 containers. I’m down to three as we go further into the month. I brought my geraniums in and they’re on the window sill in the garage. I think I’m postponing the inevitable because I won’t be carting them to SC.

A geranium it is! I know what you mean about the inevitable; it is too sad when the geraniums are done. That red is sorely missed. You are going back to the same place as last winter? That gives all your followers some warming winter moments! Excellent!

We are going back. Guess we will avoid the snow shoveling one more year. It’s a long drive and at some point that will be a defining issue. I’m a home body and would just buy more fabric, but hubby really hates the cold and the snow. 🙂

Cold and snow can be powerful motivators. But I sure do understand that love of hibernating. I also understand not loving long drives. For now, I am looking forward to splendid photos and commentary from your winter escape. Let’s hope there won’t be any repeat of last year with the weather!
