Connections: July 9.17

Holding tight in Hoosier clay

at end of thundering roiling day

the plants in tilted chorus say

the summer storm went that-a-way.

  1. So true. We had a wicked storm roll through here for a few hours yesterday, dark as night, wind blowing, and rain in sheets. I’m sure my plants felt the same way. Sunny and beautiful today. 🙂

    • That was some system — from Indiana to New Hampshire! And, yes, sunny and beautiful here this morning, too. I bet your garden loves it as much as mine does. We don’t mind it either!
