Sometimes the genies of summer
won’t let go their hold
so we arrange their favorite bottles
and put out our own red and gold
thus do we help Mother Nature
get on with the business at hand
cooling our heat-weary world
coloring it with new crayons.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a beautifully coloured bottle tree.

It is splendid, isn’t it? I cannot take any credit for it; my friend Donna is the designer. I will pass along your approving words — thank you!

It is. I think credit is deserved for curation: you’ve got a great eye.

The photographer was Donna’s husband, Bill, whose eye has provided many a great image. But I’ll take the credit for choosing which of his great images to post! Thanks!
